Information Technology Manager
Job Summary
.IT Manager is responsible for administering data operations, IT and information processing systems in Makassed Schools and General Office by overseeing and monitoring IT personnel as well as IT information systems
Responsibilities
- Managing information technology and computer systems
- Supervision and maintenance of computing needs
- Troubleshoot the hardware, software and network systems
- Provide orientation/training to users of the information technology
- Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources
- Design and manage web services, including social media applications and discussion forums
- Ensure the secure and effective operation of all computer systems, related applications, hardware, and software used within Makassed premises
- Identifying needs to improve and update software and systems
- Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides
- Introduce Makassed IT department and employees to new equipment or systems and keep them up-to-date with new trends
- Controlling and evaluating IT and electronic data operations
IT Manager Requirements
- Holder of a master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other equivalent qualification with at least eight (8) years of working experience OR holder of a bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or management information systems with at least (10) years of working experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Understanding of complex information and requirements
- Ability to explain complex information and technologies in simple terms
- Superior team leadership and delegation skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
- Excellent non-verbal, oral and written communication skills
