Accounting Manager Accounting Manager - Job Summary
The Accounting Manager is responsible for managing the financial operations of Makassed Society in order to promote success and growth while maintaining legal financial practices. His duties include performing a leadership role to guide accounting personnel in daily tasks and reviewing financial data
Accounting Manager - Responsibilities
  • Coordinates and prepares monthly payrolls HR executive
  • Maintains accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions
  • Performs account balance and payroll reconciliation
  • Prepares the monthly NSSF subscription fees and annual NSSF declaration
  • Prepares the quarterly and annual income tax declaration
  • Participates in exercising control and diligence with regards to payments, receipts, purchases, fixed assets, depreciation and related accounting documents like vouchers, cheques and invoices etc… and acts as the checking authority before forwarding for approvals of department director
  • Prepares monthly financial statements including distribution of monthly revenue, expenditure reports and balance sheet statements
  • Participates in receiving, registering and verifying activities such as accounts payable, accounts receivable and any other control accounts
  • Controls and maintains complete and updated records of fixed assets
  • Posts journal entries, reconciles the general ledger, and control accounts
  • Maintains the general ledger and all related accounts with proper documentation and records of transactions in line with the approved accounting standards
  • Assists in the preparation of annual and mid-year budgets
  • Provides required information to external auditors to finalize the year-end closing and issuing of the financial statement
  • Maintains general ledger and performs monthly account reconciliations
  • Provides department director with accurate financial information, management accounts and data analysis
  • Prepares the monthly management accounts (accruals and prepayments, monthly/adjusting/recurring journal entries), monthly bank reconciliations, debtor/creditor and petty cash reconciliation
  • Prepares adjusting journal entries
  • Reviews accounts for discrepancies and reconcile differences
  • Examines inventory to verify journal and ledger entries
  • Assists with budget and forecast
  • Manages tax reporting and compliance
  • Works closely with the IT team to ensure all financial data are secure
  • Assists in a variety of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Arranges for month-end closing
  • Arranges for yearly-end closing
  • Prepares annual declarations (VAT) to the ministry of finance
  • Follows up fiscal and legal papers with the auditing firm and the lawyer
  • Liaises with related external parties

Accounting Manager - Required Qualifications and skills
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxes, Business Administration or equivalent / BBA
  • A Minimum of 7 years of experience, 5 of which in a managerial position within the accounting/finance field
  • Excellent competency in Microsoft Office applications, among other related software
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
  • Excellent proficiency in both English and Arabic is essential

I.T. Technical manager IT Technical Manager - Job Summary
The IT Technical Manager has to Manage and lead the IT support team and infrastructure to ensure efficient operations
IT Technical Manager - Responsibilities
  • Monitors and analyzes support metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Provides technical guidance and support for escalated issues
  • Collaborates with other departments to ensure seamless IT operations
  • Trains and mentors IT support staff to enhance their skills and performance
  • Ensures compliance with IT security and data protection standards

Maintenance Manager Maintenance Manager - Job Summary
Maintenance Manager is a key figure responsible for overseeing and managing all maintenance operations within Makassed Society’s facilities. He has solid understanding of plumbing and electrical systems as well as carpentry and other crafts. He will be well-versed in all maintenance process including health and safety regulations. He will act as the central point of contact for any maintenance-related issues, ensuring that everything from equipment and facilities to grounds and systems are maintained in optimal condition. Maintenance Manager - Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the Makassed Society’s properties (owned and leased) have comprehensive set of cyclical maintenance contracts and monitoring effectiveness, quality, safety and cost
  • Maintains an adequate inventory of operations and maintenance supplies and equipment, and monitors their use
  • Prepare plans for preventive, corrective and regular routine maintenance
  • Manage and execute the maintenance needs on time according a set schedule
  • Ensure that property is well maintained and complies with relevant legislation
  • Make recommendations on replacement, additions, or deletions of facilities and equipment when needed and/or economically justified
  • Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
  • Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
  • Check electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality
  • Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities

  • Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc

Procurement Manager Procurement Manager – Job Summary
The Procurement Manager has to manage the Society’s supply of products and services. His responsibilities include strategizing to find cost-effective deals and suppliers. His duty is to discover the best ways to cut procurement expenses, so that the company can invest in growth and people
Procurement Manager – Responsibilities
  • Reviews purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to Makasseds’ purchasing policy
  • Reviews, evaluates, and approves specifications for issuing and awarding bids
  • Finalizes purchase details of orders and deliveries
  • Administers online purchasing systems
  • Prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment
  • Coordinates and monitors the receiving of all merchandise and materials delivered;
  • Receives materials and parts from vendors and assures billing numbers match material ordered
  • Negotiates best prices, terms of payment, terms of shipment (if any), packing system, delivery dates, etc
  • Coordinates with suppliers and internal clients in case of need of any amendment;
  • Researches vendors, assists with vendors selections, and analyses history of performance of existing suppliers against preset criteria of selection
  • Manages suppliers’ relations to negotiate favorable contracts among other aims
  • Controls purchasing department budgets
  • Analyzes market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability

  • Conducts periodic visits to vendors’ premises in order to maximize vendors’ relation with organization, to resolve conflicts if any, and to report on potential problems
  • Controls spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs


Procurement Manager - Required Qualifications and skills
  • Proven working experience as a Procurement Manager, Procurement Officer or Head of Procurement
  • A BA or its equivalent
  • 10 years of general experience in purchasing best practices, A 5 year related managerial position is a plus
  • Talent in negotiations and networking
  • Good knowledge of organizational policies and procedures
  • Good competency in Microsoft Office applications, among other related software
  • Good proficiency in both English and Arabic is essential
IT Technician IT Technician – Job Summary
IT Technicians operate and maintain computer systems and networks to ensure that employees get the most effective IT functionality.
IT Technician Duties and Responsibilities
  • Monitoring and maintaining the computer systems as well as the networks within the school premises
  • Dealing directly with employees who have technical issues such as forgotten passwords, viruses or email issues
  • Installing and configuring computer systems, printers, projectors, and other computer peripherals
  • Installing, configuring and maintaining software and hardware components of computer and network systems
  • Repairing and replacing damaged computer and network components

IT Technician Education and Training Requirements
  • Diploma or college degree in computing or IT support

  • Desirable to have
  • Certificate in ICT Systems Support
  • Recognized certifications in IT industry that include, the CompTIA A+, Google IT Support
  • Professional certification and related courses from Microsoft and Cisco
